Carol Lee, Publications Secretary
Carol Lee is the wife of Pastor David Lee. Carol grew up on a farm in Shelby County, Indiana. Carol is a graduate of Butler University's Jordan College of Fine Arts with a Bachelor of Music degree emphasizing Music Education, Piano and Voice. Carol has taught in both public and private schools and given service to churches as her family has moved throughout central and southern Indiana with the United Methodist Church. Carol taught private piano lessons for 30 years. Carol continues to share her gifts of music through special piano and voice offerings and accompanying.
Carol has been involved with the 4-H program for 38+ years as she completed her 10 years, guided her children through each of their 10 years, as a 4-H leader in Bartholomew and Vanderburgh County, and as 4-H Council President for Vanderburgh County. Carol also was very involved in the Women's Club of Newburgh from 1996-2004 as she was 1st Vice-President. This organization of women was committed to promoting volunteerism and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of its members through fostering interest among the members in social, economic, cultural and civic affairs of the community.
Carol and Pastor David have 4 children and 2 grandsons. Their oldest daughter, Carrie, and her husband, Jason Cash, reside in Noblesville, Indiana with their sons Jaden and Tyler. Daughter Cassie lives in Carmel and is a math teacher for Clay Middle School. Their son, Corey Lee attends Purdue University and was a member of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club for 4 years. Claire is a 7th grader at Franklin Township Middle School East and enjoys 4-H and playing her cello.
Carol is responsible for the bulletin, newsletter, website, and all other publications at Christ United Methodist Church. In her free time, Carol loves to sew.
